Constance Tynon Shot Dead

On Tuesday, the 12 September, 1922, the “Ballinalee” (afterwards named “Rose of Lough Gill”) armoured car came down Ardnaree and at Donegan’s corner (bottom of Ardnaree)
began firing and a Miss Constance Tynan  (Tullamore) was hit by a stray bullet and died.
She was a niece of Mrs. M. Caffrey, Bridge Street, Ballina.
